Swirly pearls

I have made another card using my swirly pricking template, I think this use is much easier than stitching through the holes! lol, I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I have used black pearls with a swirly pricking template for guidance, a papermania greeting stamp, and pink (what other colour!) punched flowers. Thanks for visiting :)

Happy Graduation!

After being asked to make a 'blingy' graduation card I consulted with my friend Karen who very kindly helped me out :) the Components for the hat were all cut out on my craft robo, along with the words. I love this feature as it makes it so much easier to take orders for whatever wording people want on cards without having to keep loads of peel-off letters in stock or fiddle around with my cuttlebug dies for hours on end! I'm really pleased with how this has turned out as it was hard to visualise when it was still a work in progress!

Thanks for looking :)

MSE Musical Challenge

Here's my entry for ScattyJan's Music theme challenge over on MSE. Please pardon the terrible pun :D

Garden pics

This is what our garden looked like 12 months ago, more like a jungle than anything else!
After culling the ferocious weeds, the next stage was to build up the middle section to combat the slope
The bottom level was then paved in order to accommodate a shed in the future:
The rest was then laid with artifical lawn and slate chippings, and at last it's finished (well, apart from the shed!!)

Robo flower frame card

Another card made using my new favourite toy! I love this flower frame, it looks fab with some patterned paper behind it! I've used paper from my new Henbury lane paper pack, along with some punched daisies, card candy, and Silver and Amethyst coloured gems for the flower centres. I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

CRAFT Challenge - Birthday/Celebrations
One stop craft challenge - Birthstones (Amethyst - February)

Thanks for looking everyone!

Creative Cottage - One for the boys

Here's a card I have made for the current challenge over at Creative Cottage - one for the boys!

Sparkly swirls

I really enjoyed sticking all the gems down on this one! I used a pricking template to make dots onto the card in pencil instead of making holes, and created the flowers using punches. The stamped sentiment is by personal impressions. I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Distressed Card

Distressing is not something I do very often as I can't stand the mess :D but nevertheless I've created the distressed edges on the brown background paper of this card by using my scissors along the edges. The white card blank has been inked around the edges with brown. The blue paper is embossed with swiss dots cuttlebug folder and then sanded to reveal the white core. My favourite part of this card has to be the sentiment, the first time I have used my white opaque embossing powder and I love the visual effect, plus if you run your finger over it has a sandy texture which adds to the distressed feel.

New Home Card

Trying my luck with a scheduled post so I hope it appears at the right time! This is a new home card I made for a colleague who is moving house today! The chandelier is a silhouette image printed onto white card and matted onto black, with a strip behind punched with a fiskars border punch and wrapped with white organza ribbon. Words were cut on my craft robo!

Challenge card!

Hi everyone, I have made this very blue card using a stamped image from penny black, coloured with promarkers and using my robo to cut the circle and scalloped circle mats the image is sitting on. The light blue paper in the 2 rectangles has been embossed with the cuttlebug 'daisies' folder. Background paper is FF pink parfait and I have added some flowers by papermania layered with smaller punched dasies. Corners are from a sizzix die and buttons, gems and stickes to finish off! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
