I'm so thrilled I got to use this fab image called Miss Fortune for my project this week! She seems like a feisty one, ooh la la!

I've coloured her with Promarkers and used a sakura stardust gel pen to add some sparkly pink streaks to her hair.

Altered Fudge Tin

This tin started off as an empty fudge tin, and after a lot of faffing around on my part, I've transformed it into a pretty trinket tin. I've used green cardstock along with an olive colour whitewash coredinations card, which has been embossed with cuttlebug folder divine swirls, and then sanded to reveal the lovely olive core.
The flower and swirls were sent to me by my lovely friend Sarah :)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

OSAAT #27 - Say it with Shapes

Its Sunday again, and you know what that means! Yep, it's time for another challenge over at One Stitch at a Time. This week we're 'Saying it with shapes!' I've interpreted this by making a shaped easel card using nesties lablels1.

To decorate it, I've used the gorgeous paper pack 'Carnivale' by Floppy Latte Designs! Check out more of the range here! I've kept the embellishments to a minimum and just added some flowers and a sentiment, as these beautiful papers really speak for themselves!

Our sponsor this week is Craft Brulee! Please take a moment to visit their site and browse the fab selection of goodies they have!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Craft your Passion - Anything goes
Wild orchid - One for the Girls

My new pride and joy!

As my current laptop is getting a bit old (in laptop terms anyway!) I decided the time was right to replace it. So meet my new Pink Dell laptop! I havent switched it on yet as my OH is out and I like to leave the technical whizzardry stuff to him, he'll transfer all my stuff over for me. But I was just so excited I had to post a pic!! Isn't she beautiful!! I do feel though, that she needs a name, something princessy... I am open to suggestions please!!

Going Green

Now, green is not a colour I use very often as I just dont think it goes with much. But I was suddenly inspired to make a green and purple combination card, using this perfect cheeky looking image! This is Tiny Tia, a recent freebie from Some Odd Girl. This is the first time I've used one of their images and I must say this little cutie is definitely growing on me!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

I have used:
Image Tiny Tia from Some Odd girl, coloured with Promarkers
Coredinations whitewash card embossed with Divine Swirls cutttlebug folder and then sanded.
Martha Stewart border punch
Paper, ribbon and gems from stash.

Thanks so much for visiting me!

OSAAT Challenge 26 - Pack a Punch!

Another Sunday, another challenge from the gang over at One Stitch at a Time Challenge blog!
This time our theme is 'Pack a Punch' - to use some sort of punch on your project!

I have used the gorgeous digi stamp 'Air Fairy' by Robyns Fetish. You can see more of her stamps and more in the Stitchy Bear & I Dit It Creations shop.

To make my DT card, I have coloured the gorgeous image with Promarkers and cut it out with a Nellie Snellen frame die. The paper is by Papermania and the flower and leaves (a little hard to see!) are made using punches. Ribbon and gems from stash along with a lot of stickles!!

My new old shelving!

After a good sanding, a few coats of paint and some TLC my new old storage unit has come up lovely!
I will use it for all things that are in small pots and packages, such as dew drop inkpads, glitters, embossing powders and such like!

20 years and counting!

I was asked this week to make a 20th wedding anniversary card. As 20th is China, I really wanted to try and include that theme on the card but everything I tried I didnt really like.
So instead I just kept it nice and classic, with a swirly heart cut out on white pearlescent card using my robo, and then backed with acetate. Then I glittered the edges with stickles!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Watch this space...

I picked up this cute little shelving unit off ebay for £8.81 including postage! Thought it was to good to miss as I've been looking for something similar for a while. It measures 30x30cm.
Anyway, it needs a bit of doing up so I am going to alter it and use it in my craft room on the wall
This is the 'before' picture, so watch this space to see it completed!
I do love a good project!!

Clear(ly) Christmas!

I love working with acetate and really should get round to it more, so when I saw the current challenge over at the Creative Cottage I knew I had to make something to enter! I've really been trying to get a move along with my christmas cards recently, so decided that this was the way to go. I have used acetate for the card base and think that this gives such a great effect in itself, I dont like to cover it all up!

I have used a Dovecraft snowflake punch, a Hobby Art christmas stamp and paper from The Snowman christmas paper pack. Not forgetting the Stickles of course!! Thanks for stopping by!! :)
