Gingerloft - Tie a Yellow Ribbon

This week at Gingerloft we want to see you "Tie a Yellow Ribbon" onto your projects!

I've used this fun Kite image, coloured with Promarkers, to make a card suitable for a general child's birthday. I've used paper from the Forever Friends springtime pack and added a sentiment from craftwork cards. The gems and ribbon are from stash.
Thankyou for stopping by! Please visit the rest of the DT blogs to to see their wonderful creations :)

And finally, just a quick mention that we have a Blog Hop coming up on the 12th June, the theme for this will be Asian Inspiration! I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun :)

IDIC #57 - Freebie Challenge

This is a Sad project from me, it will be my last as part of the DT for I Did it Creations. I've had such fun working with all of the very talented ladies on the team and wish them all the best!!

The theme this week is a Freebie image from Robyns Fetish. To get this, head over to the I Did it Creations blog and join in the challenge using the image, easy peasy!

I've coloured Happy Harry using promarkers and cut him out with scalloped circle nesties. I have used a scrap of denim effect paper on the layer behind him. The sentiment is by craftwork cards and the navy ribbon is from stash.

Thankyou for visiting me on my last IDIC challenge :)

Happiness is....

I thought I'd post this to try and remind myself why I love my cats, they are making life very hard for me today by being general little wotsits and won't let me get anything done!

I made this a couple of weeks ago and as always, hadnt got round to posting it yet! The image is a stamp from Dimension Fourth, but I've only used it a few times as it's quite difficult to get a good impresssion out of it. I still adore it though! Here, I've stamped in Memento and inked around the image with Pumice Stone distress ink. I've used Papers from the Papermania V&A collection, which are also inked around, and the corner is made with a sizzix die.
The Lace, Bakers twine and the mosaic tiles are from stash, and the sentiment is from a stamp set by Personal Impressions. I've added a touch of glossy accents to the cats eyes to make them shine :)

This beer mug image I have used is from Digistamp Boutique and I've added colour to it with Promarkers. The foam is made from some fake snow 'stuff' (no better word for it..!) The letters were in an alphaber sticker pack for 29p from Home Bargains! The leather effect silver card was from an exhibition quite a while ago...not sure who by, possibly papermill or payperbox!
Thanks for visiting :)

CRAFT #104 - Alter/Recycle

IDIC #56 - Anything Goes

Sundays always mean it's time for another challenge at I Did it Creations! And we have a nice easy one for you this week: Anything Goes!!

Our sponsor is the lovely Angela at Toucan Scraps, and she has kindly provided the DT with a digital kit to use for their projects this week.
Here's how I've used it, everything is from the digi kit except for the embossed purple paper at the back, the sentiment, and the bakers twine down the edge. This was a gorgeous kit to play with and I loved deciding which of the papers to use and layering all the images up :)

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today! :)

SFTW #9 - Blue, buttons and bling

Today is my first project as a new DT member for Stampin for the Weekend! I am so pleased to be joining this talented bunch of ladies and hope I can match up to their high standards of creating!!

The theme for this fortnights challenge is a Recipe of Blue, Buttons and Bing!  I'm really trying to make more men and boys cards as my stock is seriously deficient in that area. I'm trying to aim for at least 1 in 3...wish me luck!
For my project, I've used a cute LOTV die cut quare and papers from the FF men's collection which matched up really well with the image! The border punch is by X cut, and the sentiment is a Stamp by Personal Impressions. The Buttons and string are from stash, and I've put Distress Stickles around the image for the Bling part!

Thanks for visiting :)

Charisma #20 - Birthdays in Pink

At Charisma this week we've gone Pink, along with Birthday creations!
Our sponsor for this challenge is Robyns Fetish Digital Stamps!
Robyn's Fetish Badge

I've used their cute digi stamp called 'A little birdie told me', coloured with Promarkers. The music is a stamp by LOTV which I've stamped with Victorian Velvet DI and inked around the edges with Spun Sugar. The card blank has been spritzed with chalkies paints through a template to create the background. The flowers are made using an x cut punch and black stickles for the flower centres. I've added Cotton Candy stickles around the music image, and to the flowers. The gems are from stash, and the sentiment was cut from a large sheet of bird themed birthday sayings.

I've put a piece of the same paper behind the punched panel on the inside of the card so it shows through. The doily is cut with a Nellies die and the sentiment is a stamp by Fiskars. Gems are from stash and I've added stickles to the doily and the glass she's sitting in.

AUD Sentiments - No Sentiment! (Eh?!)

Today marks my first challenge on the DT at AUD Sentiments! This week, the theme is 'No Sentiment'!

Our sponsor for this challenge is DigiChick:

I  got to play with their lovely Candy Dispenser template for my project this week. I used acetate for the main body of the box, and some pink stripy papers from my scraps drawer to decorate. I've punched around one of the papers with MS doily lace edge punch, and added a brad to the top of the lid and ribbon around the main part. Of course I had to add some Haribo bears for it to fulfil it's purpose ;)

Thanks for visiting me :) Dont forget to stop by the main AUD Sentiments challenge blog to check out the rest of the talented DT's projects!

Charisma #19 - Under the Weather

My second post for today is to tell you about our new challenge theme this week over at Charisma Cardz, which is Under the Weather (Get Well Soon)

We have some lovely sponsors for you this week:
One lucky winner will receive 5 Digital Stamps of their choice

The lovely Heidi from Stampe shop is offering one lucky winner this week a $15 voucher.

For my DT project, I've used this sweet Stacked Teacups image from Pink Cat Studio.

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and cut out with Go Kreate Ovals and Scalloped Ovals. The edge of the image has been inked around with Spun Sugar DI. Ive used an MS border punch on the centre strip and lace which has been coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from papermania FF stack and Dovecraft Sweet owl stack. The sentiment is a stamp from Papermania and the flourish is a stamp from Inkadinkadoo. The three dots of pearls in the corners are Liquid pearls, which I've had for aged but never used, they give a great effect and I've added some to the spotty teacup on the image too :)
 Thanks for stopping by! :)

CHALLENGES:
On Thursday morning, I spent a great deal of time listing and entering challenges for this card. Unfortunately, blogger then went down and lost my post, so apologies if you have followed me from a DT blog to leave a comment and you can't see your challenge linked. I'm sure that plenty of other bloggers are in the same situation! I simply dont have the time to find out which challenges I entered and re-list and link them all again. If you need to delete me from your challenge entries for this week because I'm not linking to you, then please go ahead.
